Brake Fluid
Hi Checo
ATE is a reliable make of brake parts and brake fluid. I am not familiar with the blue racing formulation. If it is a silicone formulation I would not reccommend a change to this but stick with a normal DOT 4 or 5 formulation as this is totally compatible and totally suitable for our cars. If you considered the blue because of brake fade this is almost always due to the brake pad material not the fluid. There are plenty of rubbish pads available here in the UK. The Rover O/E pads are reliable (but heavy brake dust). I have fitted EBC [U]GREEN STUFF to my 75. Less dust and very good braking efficiency. They also do a RED STUFF pad for competition but I think they are very hard and cause rapid disc wear
