The V6 belts are indeed due at 90k or 6 years whichever occurs first.It is an expensive repair them 24valves if left to chance. We done one set this morning all went ok ( bar the last muppet who fitted them ) followed up by a 90k this afternoon. The 90k guy has been given one of Actros' flyers and he did say he will pop in and look about. Thought of the day " Can 3 sets of cam belts be done in one shift ?" |

Is the 1.8 K series turbo 60K interval for the belt then? I could have sworn it was 90K. Hey ho, only 9K to go then.

looks like i booked mine in just in time then lads,,,off to see the boys at lates on feb 4th for 90k service and new plugs,,looking forward to it

I've just noticed the Haynes manual is advising 45K or 3 years for cam belt change.
