Smile Cables needed for Steering Wheel Controls

Hi guys

I have a Sony GT564ui stereo and I would like to get the steering wheel controls working.

Could someone kindly link me everything I need? I tried finding out whether it would work with the little infrared sensor in the eyebrow trim but unfortunately it won't.

If I was to buy the new cables would they have instructions?

Many thanks

Not sure there are any cables to have? All the radio/TV in-car stuff controlled from the steering wheel is blue tooth innit???

Cool

Hi if you look behind stereo at the back on the metal frame your see a small black box, this is the infa red type. You need to cut this out and you should see two wires coming out of the black loom cable, they are blue/purple and black.

On your stereo you should have a green wire and black wire(although may be different colors according to stereo) these are the steering control wires, put green with blue/purple and black with black.

Steering controls should then work...
