I'm pretty sure you can also turn it off electrically by rewiring the switch - I did something similar with the cruise control switch so that it was always on with the ignition.

Don't have the traction control on my 395, in fact I have no toys whatsoever. Poverty spec car, other than the supercharger and Xpower back boxes. Less to go wrong with less weight.

Just so I read this right, if you lose traction it just cuts off the air supply to the throttle body? as I don't have traction control on my 190 it does not really matter, can I assume the ABS just works as standard and not the same way?

The ABS has nothing to do with the engine. I'm sitting here trying to imagine how it works lol so no bad comments please lol. I think there's a ring on the front wheel with a sensor measuring the speed of rotation and when there's a difference the sensor sends a signal and releases the brake to the wheel that's not turning. I await to be corrected
