The car is basically a good car just needs someone to buy and fettle it. (We have a couple of people on the 260s who have completely re-built our cars).

Re. accident damaged cars, as long as a body is not completely rusted through, they can be re-worked.
All the parts for the 260/R75V8s are available, many second hand as most of the car is the same as a non V8.

I remember this car from nearly 5 years ago when it was standard and had 30 something k on the clock, when I saw it parked near my 260 at the time which was only 5 numbers away on the VIN

It looked like a fairly tidy car but had a few bits that needed sorting and the guy who was an accountant was selling it to one of his clients for £4250.

A few months later it was up for sale at a dealers for £6450

Da ya know what, id still have it if i had 6.5k spare cash, i think as long as its fixed right itll be fine. And to be honest if its the guy from southminster that has fixed it he only uses all original parts and owns an old rover bodyshop. Someone just needs to ask him the questions.

I hope the new owner is pleased with it. It's a good looking and unique car.

The colour match between the bumpers and the rest of the car is literally shocking.

Bodyshop should be shutdown.

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE
