Default Rear interior light repair

Replacing those silly thin OEM bits that break off .

My 1st attempt print after multiple faux pas

Still need to sort out sizes/tolerances to allow for skrinkage

Made in 3 pieces to easily superglue together.

Final rendition of the repair bits and a couple of nearlies ..had about 4 tries til it felt right..

Kept in 3 pieces to stay flat and keep the psot with a letter size

Just a dab or 3 of Super glue to attach.

Brilliant job, try araldite rather than superglue as the housing is a polycarbonate / abs blend and its quite resistant to cyanoacrylates.

Andy

You can use what ever you got that works ..

But you want see the grief I had to get off the early superglued tryouts, had to use pliers and then sand off the remainder

Chris

Seeing as My Under bonnet cable clips got hijacked /Copied on Facebook, thought might sell a few of these to help pay for the our wonderful energy bills.

Hey. Nice job there
I can't find courtesy light for long time.

Is that 3D print?
If it is, can you send the models to other desperate members?
Cheers

Yes no problem , I have sold the Bonnet cable clips in the past to members on here and via facebook..

Haven't actually started printing any yet as just doing a few printer upgrades but, only take about 30-40mins to make these ..

Those in the picture have just gone on my 260's busted light .
