Default Coventry--Coombe Abbey Sunday 2/6/13 1pm

As there seem to be a lot of us in the Coventry/Nuneaton/Rugby area & we hardly ever see each other on the road, we've decided to meet up at Coombe Abbey Park on Sunday 2nd of June from 1pm.

This isn't a proper club meet but then, WHO KNOWS..!!

Although it started as a local to us meet up if you fancy an afternoon out in a nice setting please feel free to join us.

I'll put exact location up later this evening for those needing it.

Would be useful if people could post on here if they're coming along or don't hesitate to PM me if you need any more info.

Regards

Paul

Might be a strange question, but will they not mind a group of people and cars congregating in their car park?

its open to the public, providing you do not drive down to the very bottom of the drive and turn right in that car park. (that car park is for the hotel guests!)
i think that providing we do not act like a bunch of chavs and try doing burnouts/donuts in the car park, then there really shouldnt be a problem.

if anybody is concerned about it, i do not mind giving them a quick phone call to confirm what we are doing??

Ahh I see, so the car park you will use is not in front of the Hotel then. Thanks for the clarification.

Was just concerned they might object and that is might cause issues for the club.

Would this be useful for members not familiar with the venue?

Really greatful for all the input people

Carla were you a saint in a previous life. Saved me a whole load of work tonight.

Yes it's quite ok to be there, because its public & as long as we're parked up and not driving around all over the place. had called them earlier but been in and out all day & only had chance to do short bits on here.

Could be quite good for a first meet up, i know MG's in the park is on & theres quite often always clashes. Anyway i've got a ROVER lol

Regards

Paul
