Russel wait until you have cleaned out the manifold, EGR and wiped the MAP sensor as well, if you have not done so already, the difference will once again be beneficial to how the car drives

Daft question but what are the EGR and MAP, and what do they do?

Does the KV6 have these O rings?

(OK, that was 3 questions )

ERG is exhaust gas recirculation and will be on the air outlet

MAF is on the clean air side just after your air filter

And o rings I did were on my diesel yours has a intercooler but I don't think it uses o rings (looking at my Haynes manual)

The MAP (manifold absolute pressure) is a sensor fitted in the side of the inlet manifold and reads intake pressure.

The EGR is a valve that at certain times, bleeds off exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold back into the air intake to help reduce emissions.

The diesel is the only model with those pesky O rings.

Always a fantastic improvement when a set that have failed are replaced - always the first thing I do, but I'm finding more and more have Viton items already fitted.

We have them in the Shop for £1.99 plus post per set if anyone needs them.
