Default Now have the clutch master cylinder... Fitting tips or tricks?

I've now acquired a master clutch cylinder from a scrapyard (the same car that I got my drive shaft from) does anyone have any tips for removing and fitting? I can't seem for the life of me to be able to get my socket and ratchet into the small space to get to the bolts

The other side of my ratchet seems to be hitting something that appears to be rapped in tape / black rubber with part of a pipe sticking out below it. Any ideas on what this is? Any ideas on what ill break if I have to force my ratchet past it?

Many thanks again everyone!

Dunno what the obstacle is but all the 75's have it, probably heater pipes or something. You need the tiniest 1/4" drive ratchet you can find (preferably a flat one)

An offset ring spanner can help with getting to the rear bolt

removing a worn master and replacing it with another worn one waste of time.
i know, buy a new master and stop wasting your time and money, and your back to replace it get a tazu master from mat and do the job once .
