Default car wont start

I was warming up my car today and it cut out lights flashed and wont start now is there any other reason this might be happening other than a faulty fuel pump your suggestions and ideas would be greatly received

Lights flashing usually indicates a flat battery

Hi Matthew,

Please could you tell us whether this is your diesel or your MG ZT 120.

If they did then the fuel cut of switch most likely got triggered, sometimes happens when under bonnet pump has failed, often causing hazards to flash and interior lights to come on. Went out to a ZT that had this happen a few weeks back.

Bottom of the A post passenger side, easiest to remove glove box and lower fuse box cover panel, And quarter plastic trim, you will see with a torch a black switch with a push down rubber on it, just reset it and see if it trips.
