removing and refitting door waist trim?
I need to replace the driver's side rear door on my dad's 75. I managed to finally source a replacement PBT door after struggling to find one, but the one I've found is from a ZT so has the colour coded waist trim.
How does the waist trim come off? From what I've read before it sounds like the clips usually break? Am I better off just using some paint stripper and taking the paint off the waist trim already on the door to take it back to chrome? Cheers Rick |

cheers both!
Just noticed the trim along the bottom of the window also needs to be swapped as it's chrome on the 75 and black on the replacement door. How does that part come out? |

if your talking about the rubber weather strip which sits against the outside of the glass, its held on by plastic clips, as i recollect it can be slid up but the clips
usually break. Not sure you can get them anymore. |
