Default Possible FBH problem?

Evening all,
I eventually got the FBH working more 'properly' today ie it ran for a full 20 minutes after I swapped out the pcb out of my spare, yesterday's test ran only for a few minutes before stopping. So I thought I had cracked it when today's test ran for a 'full' cyle. However, when I checked the coolant temperature via the dash diagnostics (and the engine temp guage) neither seemed to show any appreciable temperature (diagnostics showed '000') even though the FBH continued to fire throughout and the pipes seemed to be vaguely warm to the touch as did the exhaust pipe. I assume that the car should at least register the increase in temperture or is there a possible problem with the heater ie maybe not pumping effectively.....any thoughts???

Do you by any chance have a cheap dosing pump fitted as they are no good for the FBH which is 5kw , they don’t pump enough fuel and the heater takes an age to warm up

Guilty as charged!! The pump was less than £20 so what can i expect to have to pay/brand? The pump off the scrapper literally fell to pieces in my hands!!

The FBH's you have may have multiple faults, on the PCB, a body component, or both. Seems to me that the second FBH you fitted has a component fault, that locked out the working PCB.

TT requires 12 - 14 ml/m @140PPM. trebor is correct about the cheap Chines dose pumps, they pump 3 - 5 ml/m, ok for running a Espar Airtronic or Web Air top.

You have a PM smudge.
