Default Mot.

Took my ZT-T for it's mot today, got a pass with no advisories (I have spent quite a bit on her this year, all wear and tear items - but it is worth it for another clean pass).
Saw this poor unfortunate hiding in a car park on the way home, looks to be past saving, interior is partially stripped, shame.

Drop links (of course), rear brake discs and pads, rear caliper refurbishment, a few light bulbs, full service, all three cambelts, tensioners and waterpump, new cat (can't complain after 17 years and 140,000 odd miles), and a front Lambda sensor.
Also had to rejuvenate the headlight lenses as they were not in the best condition and lastly repaired the wiring/connector under the drivers seat to put the airbag light out.
If you want the best chance of getting a first time pass, give the car a good going over/inspection and address any issues as you find them, also don't ignore it until mot time, check regularly in-between as well as a matter of course.

Odd; this has an MOT until 19th June. However, looking at the history in June 2019 the car failed an MOT with extensive sill corrosion and a broken spring. Oddly it passed the MOT the very next day.

That belonged to a member on a few of the Facebook groups. Was crashed into whilst parked if I remember rightly and written off by insurance.

Interestingly there was a smiley plate inside the car with a different registration number, if I am passing again I will have a look and note the number down.
