School dinners I was a dinner monitor & an ink well monitor back in the day All school dinner veg was boiled for a week previous to serving it

We eat tons of veg here, I grow a lot of it myself, Just had a load of mixed salad leaves & radish on a barmcake with ham for me dinner Lovely jubley.

The sun came out just after dinner so I've been staining the decking with red cedar & making a table out of the wood I got out of skips i had a 5' x 3' off cut of that block wood kitchen top left over from when we renovated the kitchen over 5 years ago, it's bowed out due to the damp in there but fine for an outside table, also had an offcut of thick lino just the right size to cover the top

My back & neck are cream crackered so I've had enough painkillers and bottle of Henry's to drop a horse I wouldn't be able to move otherwise.

Lost a lot of my tomato seedlings to some pest nothing but stalks in the pots this morning, Really pee'd off about that as some of those varieties were my last seeds I got from Hungary & you cant get them now since brexit they wont post to the UK

Salad I can live with as long as there's a decent dressing but draw the line at cucumber and celery. I don't even like the smell of cucumber.

I've got lots of celery growing from seed & gherkin, cucumber, celeriac.

Ribs in BBQ sauce & herby potato wedgies for tea tonight.

That's a conversation I have no desire to enter!

I think all or most dogs are nuts about peanut butter, no idea why. Give some to ours they tend to get it stuck to the roof of their mouths with hilarious consequences.
