Just been out filling the bird feeders. Glorious sunshine but a bitterly cold breeze from the north east. I'm getting my head nipped about jobs in the garden but its bl00dy cold!

Good shot

We have a few Nuthatches this year, first time we have seen them, they pulled some of the woods down ,1 mile away for housing,I expect the wildlife has moved into my woodland.

Soon be time for the snakes to visit

Not as bad as the snakes Phil get on his farm in Kenya

Its lovely here, as long as you can keep out of the cold breeze which is easier said than done.

You're ex Post Office, what is it with posties? I've just been out, cold breeze, I've got a jacket on, zipped partway up, jeans etc and a postie comes wandering along the high street in shorts and a polo shirt

Having an excellent coffee! Had run out of milk so the last couple of coffees had to be made with Coffee Mate. Its ok but no substitute for real milk. I'm a coffee nut, partly on doctors orders, drink as much as I can, its good for the liver.

When Coffee Mate first came out we were visiting my Grandparents in a wee town in the Scottish Borders. My mother was telling my Granny about it and sent me to the local shop to get some. I went in, couldn't see any on the shelves so asked the woman "do you have any coffee mate?", "yes, we've got Nescafe, Maxell House...." Obviously Coffee Mate hadn't reached the Scottish Borders yet

Afternoon all, It's been cold out but not too bad when the sun shone through the clouds. I've been up to me elbows in horse muck, compost & bone meal preparing the greenhouse beds for when the toms are ready to transplant in there.

Some weird & wonderful varieties this year besides the usual ones, Black Russian, Ox Heart, Brads atomic grape (weird name for a tomato )

I made a turkey casserole in the slow cooker for tea tonight, I washed me hands first

Oh aye . . . . exchanging photos

You can tell the weather is improving. When I was out an old Chevvy Corvette convertible, roof down, drove past. Running rich though, stench of petrol in the exhaust.
