Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning everyone.

Damp, dismal and dreary here. But due to get pretty decent soon.

Managed to get my laptop to dual boot with Win 10 Pro & Ubuntu. Much prefer Ubuntu but there's a couple of things that will only work with Win. Bit of a faff but got there in the end.

Take care.

You are quite correct - the bed was definitely pulling this morning. Bright sunshine through the window, but a light frost overnight = stay in bed
Got a small amount of pain in my arm where the vaccine needle went in last night, but no sign of any other side effects.

Hi Steve, like yourself, I am on blood thinners. One of the side effects is stomach ulcers. I had been on Omeprazole 20mg daily to prevent the ulcers, but last year it stopped working and I had an episode of vomiting lots of blood. I needed an emergency gastroscopy and the bleeding point was caused by a large stomach ulcer, the bleed was stopped using diathermy and tying off. I was on nil by mouth for a week and got better on a new medication called Pantoprazole 40mg which I take twice a day. 6 months later, another Endoscopy showed the ulcer is healed. Unfortunately I have to continue with the blood thinners for the rest of my life.

I am wondering if you would benefit from an Endoscopy - the mouth end to check on the cause of your symptoms?

Hi Phil, up til recently I had regular endoscopies, stopped when they changed my blood pressure med. I have no desire for another one!
