Dry & bright here with some fluffy white clouds and 13 degrees.
Very grateful for that as I'm loading the car ready for our trip up North on babysitting duty. |

Showers all afternoon, not heavy just annoying. Had me baker's hat on, one banana cake currently cooling down.

Doubtful, hadn't even cooled when my other half attacked it!
Don't have a bath here, shower only and I wouldn't fit in the sink or if I did I'd need the Fire Brigade to get me out again My other half just left for a nightshift so I'm dining alone, somewhat lacking inspiration for dinner . . . . maybe a couple of fried eggs and oven chips |

Preferred nightshift or backshift. Dayshift was ok during the summer but not autumn or winter, I was never into getting up before the sun. Used to have shifts that started 02:30 and 03:17, detested them. Didn't have fixed start times in the rail freight industry, not like one week 06:00, next week 14:00, next week 22:00, you'd start "around" the same time all week, +/- 2 hours either side of a datum time as long as you had a minimum 12 hours rest between finishing and starting again. The start time depended on what turn/train you were working, if a train arrived from the south at 4am somebody had to be there to step on and take it forward to the north, west or where ever.
