Default Windscreen w/rain sensor

Hello, I have a 2006 R75 1.8 Conn, I live in Co Meath in Ireland. My windscreen cracked from the bottom corner on the drivers side 2 weeks ago. I have searched. Autoglass over here would not even entertain me. It only seems to me the only place is Rimmer Bros.
Does anybody know of anyplace in Ireland, republic or North please.

have you tried going through your insurance? as far as I'm aware the windscreens both with and without the rain sensor are available still.

I got a new screen with rain sensor last year, didn't appear to be a problem. Live in a small town but the glazier sourced and fitted one within the week.

I only just bought the car and had no glass insurance, Rick's heated screens seem an absolute bargain by comparison, could have bought two for the same price.

Regards

They do go out of stock, when I bought my car 4 years ago I needed a new screen and not even the insurance company could find one.

I was told it would be a few weeks so I drove around with a cracked screen, when they came back into stock I lost count of the amount of companies telling me they had stock.

I suspect they are made in batches.

I found a Windscreen replacement company, not to far from where I live in Ireland. At Naas, Co. Kildare. AAA Mobile Windscreens. They sourced a windscreen with Rain Sensor for €289 fitted.
