Default Seat to floor bolts..Need replacement bolts

The bolts that hold the front seats to the floor is quite rusty and almost stripped so I wanted to get new ones but where on earth do I get them?

Rimmers dont even list them and as for trying to find used ones they just dont exist?
Also if anybody knew their specs I might get some from a hardware store..

Hello Seb,

Do you have threaded fastener suppliers in Norway as we do in the UK? Here's an example. If so, your best bet is to take along, or post, a sample of your quite rusty and almost stripped bolt and they will be able to identify the thread and hopefully provide something with the same, or a very similar, spec. Initially, talk to them on the phone.

I doubt that you'll have any luck with a hardware store. Seat bolts are too specialist.

And I should be able to find a few too, not sure of the state of them until I look though. Going to visit the sick 1.8T after lunch, get back to you later.

Same here, I've got a MK1 donor car if you need any.

P.s. Check the captive nuts to see of they are OK, if they have been rusty also it would be advised to run a tap, or a bolt with a couple of saw cuts across the thread through them to clean the threads.

P.p.s. I've just taken one out and they don't look like an off the shelf bolt, if it helps the thread is M10mm x 1.5mm.

I thought this was going to be easy but no.
Seems there are two types of bolt.
I have 4 of the larger head and 3 of the smaller headp1.JPG

let me know which ones you would like.
I will ask my wife what the postage is an add it to the thread later

Found four bolts, removed from a year 2000 V6, no rust, someone possibly tried removing them with standard torx but came out OK with torx plus. PM me with address if you're interested, can sort out the postage later.

Regards
