Brilliant sunshine here but by no means warm. I'm under instructions to water the pots in the garden but suffering a severe lack of enthusiasm.

Ditto Steve, I need to water in the lawn feed I spread on the lawns a few days ago, It's so windy now I'd end up getting soaked.

Wow

Sun shining brightly, me in shorts cutting the lawn, watered the plants and tidied up the borders, painted the sheds and fence panels, lovely in the nice warm sunshine

Then I awoke from my slumber in the armchair, time to put the kettle on

Another day tomorrow

Together Forever

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Very true Steve. I remained a beat officer through out my service because I loved walking and talking. It seems nowadays that once they finish their two year probationary period all they want to do is 'Specialise' and get off the beat. sad but true .

The only time I have been on the M25 Jeff is when I visited you, altough I didn't get stuck in traffic (That must be a first) I couldn't believe the number of speed cameras .

My father remained a PC, mainly because he wasn't shy with his opinions, no matter what badge they might have on their shoulder he wasn't afraid to tell them what he thought! I have fond memories of my father's colleagues, they were a good bunch of guys including the dog handler with, my father said, a dog that bit more police than it ever did criminals

Afternoon all, the wind is abating & it looks like we have a nice evening.

Just back from dads appointment at the Glaucoma dept at Bolton hospital, the place is chocabloc, trying to get a parking space is terrible & the car park is HUGE.

Have you all spent your old £5 notes! they're not legal tender after Friday the 5th May.

Better get that donkey chocker wedge out the knicker elastic & taken to the bank.
