Good morning all, Oooo me head, One too many sherries last night.

It's a cloudy day here though much warmer than yesterday with rain forecast later, I need to mow some grass before the rain comes down.

Good morning all, is it?

Took LJW into the Russian car wash yesterday for an inside and out.
Airbag light now permanently on. Had to postpone today's MOT. Not to worry, Ed is coming over with his T4. We will take the seat out and do the connectors, should do the trick

Good morning Ian, I did all of the Christmas shopping yesterday. What with the car wash it was a full day. You will feel much better after you have had the English and a cuppa

Morning Phil, Christmas shopping! Yikes. . funny you should mention the airbag light, when my missus moves the seat forward the airbag light comes on, when I move it back it goes off, only it didn't yesterday and I'm taking mine in next week for MOT. I always hope the MOT tester doesn't move the seat forward when he tests it.

Bacon/egg/black pudding/beans & potato cake have been had.

The airbag light is a well known fault. I have had it before. LJW has passed its MOT with flying colours for the past 2 years. Should be okay for rust as it has had a full underbody seal. It has a birthday soon as it was built on 02 October 1998. How long will it last? Our next car is to be a hybrid. Jessica wants to go electric, that's the next thing. Having said that, LJW is very comfortable and it's seductive, but a tad thirsty.....

I rather fancy your breakfast Ian. Yummy yum yumm

Had it with both the 1.8T and the V8. Tried various things with the 1.8 before eliminating the connectors completely, solder and heatshrink, we tip, add about 6" of wire. Never had the light again. When it happened with the V8 went straight to the solder/heatshrink option.

Was nice here but its peeing down now. Its like somebody flicked the autumn switch, lot of leaves blowing around. Surrounded by trees here, leaves are a PITA this time of year.

Afternoon all, It's raining here now but I managed to get the lawns mowed before it started.

Soldering the wires have been on the 'To Do' list for ages I clean the connectors up and alls well for 6 months or so then the airbag light starts to come back on again.

I need to take the seats out really to get at the job better.

One of my favourite meals tonight, Smoked haddock & mash with carrots/peas.
