Default wiring electric seats up. can I skip memory?

I'm looking to change my manual seats over for some electric ones. Unfortunatly I dont have the loom. The ones I have my eye on however have memory, and I hear these ones are more of a faff to wire up? Is it possible to just miss out the memory side and simply wire the motors to love the seat up?

Thanks

Steve
