I couldn't imagine my back, my wallet, or my sanity surviving the daily commute for long in either of the other 2. Guess I am a James May sort of bloke. Many years ago, my brother bought an Audi TT soft-top; he fancied driving down through France to his property there. After 18 months, he traded it for an A4 Avant TDi. It got him there just as quickly, more relaxed and fresher. And if he did get tired, he could recline the seats and go to sleep at an "Aire". The Rover feels special, polished, with the sun roof open, on a sunny Sunday drive around the Lakes. And when it's throwing it down over Shap, after a day at work, it feels safe, solid as a rock and comfortable.
