Sergio Perez
Great to see Sergio Perez is moving to Red Bull to drive alongside Verstappen next year, hopefully they'll give Mercedes a run for their money. After a lacklustre season Alex Albon is being stepped down to Red Bull's reserve driver.

It should be an interesting aspect to a long season.

I am glad of this too, however would have also liked to have seen Hulkenberg get a drive in something competitive too - perhaps in place of Stroll lol.

With Daddy owning the team I can't see Stroll getting the heave!

I know hence the lol . But Stroll is not that bad of a racing driver, but for F1 racing driver, he is not that good.

He's on a par with all the other midfield drivers and teams. Mind you, Russel in a Mercedes was an eye opener.

which is the problem. On a lucky day in a mid field car, he will get it done. Put a good F1 driver in a mid field car, on any day, he will get it done.
I was disappointed with Albon, I did have high expectations of him, but I do not think his confidence is strong enough to be partnered with Verstappen (think Mansell/Piquet) - I dont think Hamilton's confidence is strong enough either to be fair! (when he is getting beaten, he becomes scrappy and desperate rather than shirking - and that also applies to Russell taking his seat, emphasising his threat). I do fear though that Perez will become dejected, going through the motions, if it doesnt go his way. I would love to see Norris in a good car, I have said it before, I think he is the new Button. Until he gets a good car, we wont see his best, but rather simply driving the car to its capabilities rather than on the edge as Verstappen can, also a younger Alonso, Kubica, and Raikkonen could. He was indeed, and I was surprised, as I didnt rate him as much as Norris. I have reconsidered. It just shows what a driver can do when they have the confidence in his car, to actually take it to the edge. Russell's stint in the merc demonstrates what I referred to above with Norris.

Personally I would really like to see Russel as a partner to Hamilton.--I'm sure the competition would spur them both on.
