I’m having some low mood just now, it’s only a couple of weeks since my mum became ill and passed away a few days later.

I just keep feeling low after constantly thing about my mum. Also my sons car is off the road until he gets a new water pump and timing belt later this week, so as well as the weather being wet or far too hot, I’m not getting out on my bike much. I have to go to hospital in a week for a pacemaker tomorrow and wait for another four months and no low pressure or fainting, I can apply for my driving licence and get some work started again, but waiting until my feeling goes so low and nothing seems me getting better, some days I’m fine but not regularly.

We had sad news yesterday, a first cousin living near Heathrow, the same age as myself got up after breakfast yesterday morning, keeled over and had a cardiac arrest. She died there and then. It was that quick, she didn’t feel a thing and apart from failing eyesight she was pretty fit, so we have to make the best of what we have, whilst we have it. In the midst of life, there is death. I know Margaret would not want us to be miserable with her passing and would want us to get on and celebrate her life as she had many children over the years……but I will miss her RIP Tomorrow, I am driving to London for my pre-operation tests, then meeting up with my friendly mechanic to change the AC compressor in our loan car, then overnight in a hotel before driving back to Bristol. The weekend looks as though the warmer weather is returning, something to look forward to. We are going to a car meet on Sunday |

Great! Had a reminder text for an appointment this coming Friday . . . . I haven't had anything about an appointment this Friday Trouble is the text just says where (as in which hospital) and when, nowt about who and if you can't attend phone the number on the appointment letter . . . . I haven't got an appointment letter so no idea who to phone. Phoned the GP surgery, waste of time, can't access the appointments database, just need to let it swing

Sorry to hear of your sad news Phil.
It's a baking day today, A tin of corned beef, potatoes, onions & carrots from the garden & Yum. Two pasties burst in the oven but nay bother they will be for tonight's tea with chips & mushy peas.
