The only cars I like are the ones in the Back ground....
Both with no number plates too!

I think the UK spec one will be somewhat sportier!!

I know that's what I thought, it's going to be a competitor to the vrs. It looks very similar which is no bad thing. Sells well and the mk1 fabia vrs cornered a market, only problem there is no sport model or diesel for thr mg3 but no doubt later on.

It looks alright in my mind. For what it is, yes it looks like the Skoda which for sales is great, but not to everyones taste.

I hate to say it chaps but we have no say what MG should be making. The mass of the UK car buying public snubbed MG and Rover back in 2005 so its probably our views as to what the public want are way in the minority. We are all holding onto what it was. That business case didnt work and now the badge is going in a different direction to try and make it work as a business. Remember in effect the chinese have bought the name and certainly in this country, bar the MG F, want nothing really to do with the Z cars or Rovers of the phoenix era.
They are doing what they think will sell. and for a business I have to agree.
Oh and they have dropped the tie ins with Fiat and their diesel Engine and are rolling out a new unit as developed by SAIC.
