Reliable calendar anyone??
Google Calendar is not reliable.
I have lost most data before February 2013 . Anniversaries are still there and the odd random event. Anyone know of a better system with the ability to make local backups? I used to use Outlook and then periodically make my own archive files (.PST's) My theory is Google have run out of server space for important data and they randomly delete folk's stuff! Its like having your house burgled and loosing previous dairies . Of course they will always find space for the megabytes of trash on Youtube if it involves advertising . Google until you come up with a response to 1000' s of people on your own forum you are a desgrace and I am livid !! Think I might go back to OUTLOOK unless anyone knows of a better app?

I use rainlender (http://www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php) you get a little widget on your desktop and it can import iCal data to add events in or even add your own, it'll give you a summary of upcoming events and is fairly customiseable to suit your needs

I use the windows calendar, data is kept in your computer , has a function to 'publish' to another site . One advantage of the big old computer and vista system !

Thanks chaps.
I'll take a look and make a decision soon. Any more stable platforms anyone? I don't mind paying as it's stability & reliability I'm after.

I use Mozzila Sunbird, its free and I have the actual programme on my "D" drive so no matter what happens it's safe, with a working Icon/link on my desktop.

Not free or cheap, butas a business planner, contact management it is easy and superb. Better than the £20k bit of stuff we use now
