2004 cdti connie se spares or repair,
Hi everyone
I have my 2004 connie se for sale I have discovered my clutch is starting to slip I had a new clutch fitted at 100K it's now nearly 115k and starting to slip I can't afford another 600 quid so she has to go and we'll just have to manage with the wife's fiesta for a while. The Good. Bodywork :- virtually unmarked apart from an area on the boot lid that has faded( apparently laquer's worn off ) ? NO RUST anywhere. Engine :- 160 re-map runs as sweet as a nut, never known it to use or lose oil in the 7 & 1/2 years I've owned it. serviced every year ( approx 8000m ) last full service 12/8/2019 MOT due 24/4/20 New front tyres 1 month ago nearly new back pipe and exhaust box Artic. Handbrake mod Air con -- Damn cold ! nearly new cooling fan and new gold resistor The Bad Clutch slipping lines on info panel Apart from this she is a brilliant piece of kit and everything that should be on a connie se works fine including electric memory seats AND the rear blind. Anyone with the knowledge to replace clutch would have a really good car Unfortunately I am nearly 78 and have neither the time, energy, expertise facilities or ability to do it myself so sadly she will have to go. she is quite driveable as the slipping is very slight at the moment and as long as the throttle isn't slammed down can be driven without any slip at all I'm looking for about 450 pounds or thereabouts pm me for any other info. or offer thanks for ploughing through this Des.
