Harewood House Nr Leeds - 19 June 2011
Harewood have now published the arena events for the day as follows:
Any more takers, please, please if you wish to attend, please confirm as soon as posible. I will be applying for tickets at the end of April which hopefully will guarantee us a good show space to display our cars. Maybe we can make it fifty, and double last years attendance Stuart Last edited by Fusilier; 20th April 2011 at 20:12.. |

Harewood House - Fathers Day Rally
Names of those attending the show (well worth attending). Numbers are creeping up, so I really do think that this will be an excellent show, just ask those that attended last year, majority who attended last year have put their names down for this year. I am planning to attend with the newer of my ZTs. As we speak wheels are being refurbished with two new tyres.
Dcl0sm (Stuart) - MG ZT Fred Spencer - Rover 75 Stubie (Stuart) - Rover 75 Dave Stocktake - Rover 75 Suzublu (Ronnie) - Rover 75 Sworks (Mark) - Rover 75 Tourer Kevineds (Kevin) - Rover 75 Hodgy (Alan) - Rover 75 dissy1810 (Steven) - MG ZT Fudgie66 (Graham) - Rover 75 Tourer (possible - if back from germany) Sikelsh (Simon) - MG ZT Bullet (Paul) - Rover 75 Baconbuttyman (Michael) - Rover 75 Duotone (Dave) - Rover 75 Redzed1 (Johnathon) - MG ZT RovingDennis (Dennis) - Rover 75 Starbug2 (Stephen) - Rover 75 Tourer (possible - if back from germany) Ricky (Paul) -MG ZT Higgi21 (Robert) - MG ZT Actros (Brian) - Rover 75 Johnwh74 (John) - Rover 75 Devillish (Stephen) - Rover 75 Tourer Arry (John) - Rover 75 2Deisels (Colin) - MG ZT-T (possible) Bluejon and Jan (John) - Rover 75 JustMicky (Michael) - Rover 75 Bobgrice (Bob) - Rover 75 Gsteph (George) - Rover 75 Tourer Hommer (Des) - MG ZT backoboy (Chris) - MG ZT Jonjon77 (John) - Rover 75 Tourer Pumpwater (Mike) - Rover 75 Tourer Mofo (Chris) - Rover 75 Ssizefive (Steve) - Rover 75 Wedgewud (Martin) - Rover 75 X5power (Steve) - MG ZT 260 PAB (Paul) - Rover 75 Now have 37 members attending, we had 25 last year, so we have surpassed last years total. If any other members wish to attend can they put their names down as soon as possible, then hopefully we will know the numbers in advance and get a decent large space. I will be dropping a line to the Organiser at Harewood soon, and asking if we can have a bit more space than we had last year. Hopefully, with these numbers attending, we are starting to make inroads into the TVR and other big clubs that attend. Maybe we can be the biggest club stand at Harewood this year. For those coming from the North, then can I suggest that we meet at Bowburn Services at around 0730 - 0745 ish then drive in convoy down to the final meeting place at Wetherby Services, and meet the remaining members beforedeparting to Harewood For all to note. The plan is that we finally meet at the services as we did last year at Wetherby Servies at around 0845 hrs, then go in convoy to Harewood House about 7 miles down the road. We do need to be very vareful along the main road into Harewood, and make sure we keep a good spacing apart, as some idiot (in a TR4) nearly run into the back on me last year, I was last in the convoy. As I mentioned in the previous thread, once we apply for and get the tickets, which will be around two to three weeks before the event, so if you do wish to attend, then please put your name down. I don't want to keep sending off for tickets, a couple of days before the event, as I believe that we got a smaller space then we needed, after all the last minute changes. I will pay for them in full, on receipt of them I will then mark them all up in envelopes with members names on, and then when I get to Wetherby, you can then pay me and I will issue your tickets and information pack. I will also prior to the event this time, put the form up on a web page, and then we can fill them in and pass them to Brian who has volunteered to collect them on arrival at Harewood, and we will then go down to the Arena and hand them in, then hopefully we can get to go around the arena At Harewood they have posted the prices up for those wanting to visit the show as a spectator, but have not yet posted the prices up for those attending the show as participants Also can you please vote on the item I put in post 89, Because I need to plan if this is to take place, i.e order and pay for trophies, and get them engraved Many thanks Stuart Last edited by Fusilier; 29th March 2011 at 12:25.. |

I don't mind either way about prizes ...... I won't win unless there is a prize for the scruffiest car that has driven the shortest distance. For anyone still thinking about attending have a look at this slideshow from part of last year's show to see how glorious it was. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbqQqojtppY We must all be really, really rightious because the sun didn't half shine. If it rains this year we'll have to blame it on the newcomers being an ungodly lot.
