![]() This site has a complete parts list for Rover's and MG's. A wealth of information if you are looking for a part number or drawing of an item.
It is in russian, but the Babelfish link will do a pretty good translation. I have previously posted this elsewhere on the forum, but here goes: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...c%2Fr%2F122520 OR http://209.85.135.104/translate_c?hl...u/epc/r/122520 Spôôk

![]() Some useful info on Alternator operation and construction.
Not exactly the same as R75 but a good guide. The Rover 75 CDTi uses a three wire Alternator. Heavy Duty wire (battery charging) is bolted to the Alternator, then connects to the Starter and onto to the Battery +ve (the heavy wire) The other two connections in the small plastic plug... One is the Field/ Excitation connection from Ignition on switch via a fuse. The other is connected to the ECU, this is the one that operates the Charge Light on the dash. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/william...aker1/alt2.htm Last edited by Dragrad; 16th March 2014 at 03:46..
