Default Dai - 1.8 Head Gasket Availability, Advice Needed

I am replacing the cyl head gasket on my 1.8 petrol K engine and understand that it is advisable to fit an upgraded copper gasket ?
Any advice on availability welcomed
thanks

There's a lot of mis-information about head gaskets, I would suggest this https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...t-set-full-kit
For starters, depending on liner heights

Don't get any gasket until you have checked the liner heights, waste of money otherwise

Get a cup of tea and read this:
https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/pages/choosi...ead-gasket-kit

Then decide from there. The copper gaskets aren't great in our experience as there's no raised sealing points - we prefer our version of the BW750, as this has all of the latest revisions and seems to last well.
We have a couple of race teams giving them a battering - and so far no failures.!
