The gent I bought the engine and auto box from converted his interceptor into a diesel for daily use! (He had three of them iirc)

I think you know the answer to that! (in the case of the majority of dealers!)

To me part of the reason for owning an Interceptor is the engine, putting something else in it especially an oil burner is sacrilege. I have a mate who was looking at a Cobra Kit car a few years ago, he wondered why it was so cheap for what looked like a nice job, the guy selling it lifted the bonnet and it had a 2.0 Ford Pinto in it. Apparently it was very economical |

I used to take batteries from a Birmingham battery maker to Einthoven recycling factory at Darley Dale which is just the other side Matlock in the 80/90s.

I replaced the battery on my coupe last week.Dropped the old one off at the scrap metal merchant and they were kind enough to bung me £3-85 Not sure what they do with them

If it's a normal lead acid battery then about 95+% is recycled. In stark contrast to Li-ion which is about zilch as far as I can find out.

Stunning car, but...
Mike,
I see that you've put your car up for sale in the relevant section. It's a stunning car. But, your line 'Price for forum members is £1500. No insults please (It's worth it in bits alone)' is going to be counterproductive. Offering it up for insults and abuse will make it far more interesting! In fact, I'll start now with... It's from Norfolk! surely you don't use money for trading up there? Maninder. |
