Just down from that is now the doctors was once the Man in the Moon pub. Bit further down is a fish and chip restaurant was once the Bignold Arms. Going the other way another Restaurant once the Falcon pub. And closest to me the Bull which has been shut for a year but is being renovated not sure as a pub or another resaturant. All open when I first moved here., Good job I dont drink

Morning everyone, It's a gloomy grey day here, Not good news with my ol dad, We had to get the ambulance out to him yesterday morning as it looks like a stroke.
There are no beds available at Bolton hospital so he's still on a trolley in the corridor. There are lots of pubs that have been turned into 7-11 type express stores here, our local vet bought the Station hotel here in town.

Afternoon all, Thank you gentlemen for your kind words, He's now on a ward and is on a drip and they've put a catheter in. They reckon it's a mild stroke , his mouth has dropped & he's not making sense and talking gibberish, I don't think he knows who we are at the moment. They're doing more tests in the next few days. Now that I've finished taxi / visiting duties til tomorrow it's teatime, I think a chippy tea tonight.

Morning everyone from grey North London.
Had an amazing day yesterday at the Shuttleworth Collection. We actually got sunburnt yet the sun never really came out till gone 5pm, but there was breeze so that possibly helped. Once I've downloaded the 850 pictures I took I'll get a few posted up. Quiet day today, no driving, but we are going out by tube train. Off to the Ongar to Epping preserved railway. I expect we'll have a pint and lunch in Chipping Ongar. Ian, your Dad is in the best place, and I wish him well. And you must remain positive. As for making no sense and talking gibberish sounds like a few people I know on here.
