Yes reading between the lines they aren't happy with my waterworks as she said the radio therapy treatment will make peeing more difficult & you might get constipation also through the process, She also told me about the micro-enemas I have to give myself before each radio therapy session too, She said it might come to surgery to remove it. The joys of getting old eh!.
Thank you Ian for explaining about self funding and what you have been told.

When I was discharged from hospital, I was given a box of 27 micro lax enemas and a couple of incontinence sheets. Self administered enemas is not too difficult.

What you do, is to lay onto your left side on a bed, draw up the legs.

When you break off the tip of the enema tube, a small amount of the enema is released. It’s actually a lubricant which you apply to the tube and anal sphincter.

Take a deep breath before inserting then breathe normally. If lubricated properly it shouldn’t hurt going in.

The worst part is holding onto the enema per rectum, is ideally it’s about 15-30
minutes…….

Carry on nurse!

That would be a challenge for me. Ever since they poked around inside me fishing out my appendix when I need to pee I NEED TO PEE!

Having a break from setting up the new washing machine, its all connected but having major grief shoving it back into the space under the bunker, still about 8" shy of where it should be. It does fit, just won't slide. Even tried sitting on my butt on a rubber mat shoving with my feet but I move rather than the machine

I need to go out, post the old passport, get bread, butter etc but Ging is having a nap (working tonight) and stuck I'm phone watching, she's expecting a call from the GP.

Okay Steve, mind you don’t hurt yourself lugging the new washing machine in.

Have a great day

Had enough of washing machines! Finally got it in but not sitting right, LHS won't go in enough, should, its the same dimensions as the old one. Hauled it out again, checked the routing of the water hose, back in, same. Out again, started shoving it back in but basically had enough, this lack of energy kicked in big style. Been like an exercise program, rock the machine and shove, lye down and shove with your feet, up again, lift and pull to get it out again, rock and shove, repeat

Its washing Ging's uniforms just now, might have another go after that but probably wait til tomorrow.

Our washing machine & tumble drier are the same, When we had the kitchen done we never allowed enough room for the floor tiles being left down when we measured up for the height of the worktops
Pulling them out isn't too bad but putting them back is the same as yours. I have a long handled flat cold chisel that I use to lift one side up at a time to jemme it in the final few inches.

This thing has a light in the drum If I ever want to crawl in and read a book I'm sorted.

Might try rerouting the water hose so that it runs along below the top tomorrow, might give the extra room it needs.

Morning, bit dreich here, rain supposed to arrive later. Might have an other go at the washing machine later but I'm suffering after yesterday's exertions, back, hips and arms all sore. One slightly annoying feature of the new machine, when it finishes the cycle it bleeps at you if you don't leap up out of the chair and attend to it.

Need to go along to the pharmacy, collect a prescription for Ging, see if there's any update on mine. I have a review with the endocrine specialist in a couple of weeks to see if the treatment is making any difference but I haven't even got the stuff yet.

11:20 update: still no sign of the hormone treatment stuff. Going to see if I can speak to the GP practice pharmacist on Monday.
