My head gasket has gone! Not the car but my Suffolk Punch mower! The head bolts were too easy to remove, so I guess that was the cause. Blew a piece out of the side, backfired and stopped. New gasket arriving Saturday and should take about ten minutes to do! Ah the simplicity of a Briggs and Stratton side valve!

French Fishermen ?
Just been looking at Marine Traffic off the Norfolk coast and there's a French fishing boat (Thomas Nicolas 2, nicking our cod???). It's not the first time this week/month that I have noticed this. My fish and chips cost enough, without them!
EDIT:- I've just looked and the name is on the exempt list! Still doesn't sit right though, does it! Go Nelson go! (Trafalgar and all that!)

Well got the new Linux OS on the desktop PC sorted out in record time, 15 minutes to say goodbye Vanessa OS aloe Vera OS
We had quite a bit of pork & beef mince in the freezer that needed using up so I've made a batch of sausage meat & spices to make Lorne sausage in a loaf tin, Well enough for two loaf tins So now lots of Lorne square sausage patties to give out to family. Just tried one on a barmcake with brown sauce, Bootiful.
