Arr I already have that Patch, it was me that pointed the wallpaper problem to Petrut, I know he is working on a new desktop Iphone look alike , I thought he had done it and not let me know . I am worried about doing the soldering, it has just cost me £70.00 for the GPS Board. I don't want to mess up another one

Hi Tony,
thanks for quick answer... It seems to be newer than mine, so I'm interested in having such a sd card. (8 Gb) Please let me know how you do prefer to get paid and how much it is to Germany. Regards Muck |

Hi Tony Just a quick check, I am guessing the all will fit quite easily on a a 4 gig card including maps for all europe and space for updates POI,s ect. I will keep the one card for just Sat Nav and have a seperate card for my music, which I already have ready and waiting.. I intend to have one of these of you when I get my unit, which is currently in transit. Cheers |

Hi Tony,
My card arrived this morning thanks. Unfortunately I think my unit is becoming faulty, getting some very loud cracks through the right front speaker whenever you touch the screen or when the sat nav speaks. When I put the card in I get the dreaded out of memory box as soon as it starts up locking the system and kicking me back to the screen where you start the navigation from. I'm even getting the same from my original card that was working up until recently. I bought mine direct from Cathy before Sean came along so don't hold much hope out for getting anything done about it. I appreciate your effort and expertise in putting these cards together for us all. I'm sure it would have been better if the unit was working properly. Thanks again and I'm sorry I couldn't be more positive about it. Andy |
