While on detachment to the Falkland Islands in 1983 I was sat on the edge of the open cargo door at the back of a Chinook during a trip from Port Stanley to Cape Orford. The journey was nicknamed the '125 run' as that was the speed in knots that the aircraft cruised at and we were never more than 50 feet off the ground. I can recommend the experience as a sure fire cure for constipation.
