I'm not sure I want to go too deep into the subject of your special dumplings.
As Cambodian pork curry isn't on the menu yet considering roast pork tonight, with the trimmings of course, roast potatoes, veg, maybe yorkies and gravy |

Afternoon all, I never saw the weather alert for heavy rain overnight here , I've been in the garage bailing out the rain water all morning In 35 years living here I've never ever known it to be so bad The ground is so waterlogged it's got nowhere to drain away.
Those look yum Jeff It'll have to be a ping meal for tea tonight as I'm not in the mood,There are some chicken Korma with rice ready meals in the freezer that'll do.

Slight menu change, distinct lack of yorkies . . . . do some sage & onion stuffing in the oven instead.

If you intend to move to our fair County, local folklaw says you must not meddle with local recipes and traditions, before you are allowed to move in ,you have to swear your allegiance to the Mighty Canaries and banish any plastic footy teams from your mind, and you have to sing the famous Norfolk song,"Hev yew got a loight boy"
Here are the lyrics for you to learn during lockdown I had a girl, really nice girl, down in Wroxham Way, She were wholly nice to me back in the old school days, She would smile all the while, but Daddy didn't know all, What she used to say to me behind the garden wall. "Have you got a light boy? Have you got a light?" Then one day, she went away, I don't see her no more, Till by chance I see her down along the Mundesley shore, She was there, twice as fair. Would she now be true? So when she sees me passing by, she say, "I'm glad that's you! Have you got a light boy, have you got a light?" Molly Windley, she smokes like a chimley, But she's my little nicotine girl. Now you'll see, her and me, never more to part, We would wander hand in hand together in the dark, The one night I held her tight, in the old back yard, But when I tried to hold her close, She say, "Now hold you hard!" Have you got a light boy, have you got a light?" Molly Windley, she smokes like a chimley, But she's my little nicotine girl. By and by, we decide, on the wedding day, So we toddles off to church to hear the preacher say, "Do you now take this vow, to honour all the time?" Before I had the chance to stop her, she begins to pine. "Have you got a light boy, have you got a light?" Molly Windley, she smokes like a chimley, But she's my little nicotine girl. Now the doctor tells me a daddy I will be, So when I ask him, "What's the score?" He say there's only three, So here I go, cheerio, to see how she do fare, I know what she will say to me as soon as I get there "Have you got a light ..... boy." How to make Norfolk dumplings Ingredients 225g flour 1tspn salt 7g live yeast Half a pint of warm water Method Combine the flour and salt. Put the yeast into the warm water, then mix with the flour and salt. Knead the dough to a dry but springy consistency, adding more flour if necessary. Cover and leave to rise. Shape up into four balls and boil in a 5-litre pan of water for 20 minutes. Makes four good-sized dumplings.
