I think I used the fittings on the pipes I brought to them, and they just took them off, fitted them to the hose and crimped the fittings! But darn if I can remember!

But seriously, how unusual can these be???

And why exactly when bridging the oil side it wouldn't leak oil in coolant anymore, but when bridging the coolant it still would? And also what do you mean with "no, not on it's own"?

By chance I came across the old oil pipes between the cooler and the pump.
Each is missing the fitting one end, so that is what I used. The old fittings on a new HP pipe.
