Got half way through changing my front wishbone bushes (which weren't too bad) and found the inner wishbone ball-joint was knackered. New one arriving tomorrow.

Considering the whole job involved 16 nuts it took flippin ages. Could the not have made then a bit easier to get at / get undone.

It did indeed look like a personal registration, and every time I've seen the car it's had a lady driver.

The paintwork is always gleaming, and I've never seen a speck of dirt on it. Definitely someone who loves the car and takes very good care of it.

It has been a costly month in my MG world. Firstly my ZTT has had rear shock absorbers and track rod ends for the Mot. My Mgtf has had a new clutch and then the Mot highlighted front discs and pads need changing and as my wife likes to drive it I got it done, on the way to pick it up now. I have had my Mgrv8 for 17 years and I replaced the windscreen frame about 10 years ago which is showing signs of rusting again so I decided to purchase a carbon fibre frame which at 975 pounds is a steel, (so I'm told) is as I said in my introduction it's been a very expensive 4 weeks.

Default Xenon self level fixed!!

Fixed my Xenon self level today. Lights went into dipped mode and would not come up. Checked both level sensors and greased seemed ok.

Did a fault code clear and it fixed it for about 10 mins then went back to dipped. Bit the bullet and took off the bumper.

All wires that are the usual culprit seemed ok then I saw a wire in the loom that’s all taped up that had green oxidisation on it the orange wire had bent back on itself straightened out taped up and….result.

Default Rover 75 with apple carplay

Replaced my original sat nav unit with a pioneer double din with apple carplay.

A bit of head scratching as all the gubbins are in the boot so laid wires from front to back for ariel and rear view camera. Also getting the harmon kardon amp working with the unit to power the sub was loads of fun. All done and it works great.
