On 15 August 1962, a mere three years after the appearance of the Mini, the Morris 1100 was launched with its revolutionary newly developed Hydrolastic suspension. The location for the launch was Worcester College during the summer break, where the foreign press stayed – and Alec Issigonis was in attendance. ***Copied from another site
