Going to Germany
This time next week Mr & Mrs Simondi and waens will be packing our bags for our holidays. We are off to Reutlingen in Germany for a week.
Now we are going with my pal and his family and he has arranged everything bar the hire cars. ( I did that, I mean he drives a Peugeot 307sw) So I don't know what there is to see and do there. Ive had a look on various site's but wondered if any one here has been in that area? I do know the Porsche museum is in Stuttgart |

never been to the place you mention but i have in the past visited BERLIN on different occasions , also spent a week in the bavarien ALPS and a couple of weeks in the FRANKENWALD region , no matter where you go you will have a good time , good food great beer , my best memory of my many hols in germany was our visit to the OKTOBERFEST in MUNICH , overhyped but a stunning occasion nonetheless.

Rhineland, around Koblenz is a must if you're not too far and a river cruise to the Asbacht brandy factory!

South of Koblenz you have the beautiful town of Cochem, in the middle of the wine growing region of the Moselle valley, top up your wine cellar!! Great food and a beautiful drive down the river.
Enjoy Germany Regards Garry |
