Morning all.

Overcast and quite cool here. Dry too. Due to stay dry and getting up into the low 20's.

Not surprisingly the tidying up didn't go according to plan. Got interrupted by a friend who has a 6.3 V8 supercharged Merc with some seriously tight brake bolts. It's a bit of a beast and very understated. You have to get really close to see the "AMG" badges - just my sort of car. My 18V impact wrench goes up to 840Nm and can easily spin off front hub nuts @350Nm but didn't touch them

. He's gone out and got a new DeWalt one which gets up to 1600Nm. Can't wait to see that in action

Accuweather radar was correct to within 10 minutes yesterday. Pretty good going I reckon.

Rich - you're a great guy. Your mum would have been so proud to see the man you are. Remember her love. You feel the way you do because you loved her, which is as it should be.

A very good morning to everyone, regulars and guests.

We are off to visit one of Jessica’s school friends for lunch and she lives in Taunton on a farm. I have not met her friend before but apparently her husband has a railway project in one of the fields which he would like to show us. I don’t know any more than that, but it could be interesting.

What is everyone up to?

Morning everyone.

A grey start to the day but still very warm.

Yesterday was an amazing day spent in the company of my god daughter and family. I loved every minute of it. I am so proud of her, she is only 8 but so grown up. I told her that she could drop the uncle bit and just call me Bob.

Afternoon all, It's ridiculously muggy & sweaty. Cant stand this weather.

Finally got an appointment with my doctor to change out one of my medications for one that wont clash with all these hormone therapy I'm taking

Came out of there to the pharmacy side & it was heaving with people waiting for their meds, Ain't standing in that queue in this muggy heat so I'll get it at a quieter time

ASDA ping meals for tea (Fried Rice).

Bucking the trend here as it's dry. Might catch a shower around lunchtime.

Had a couple of dreadful nights, waking up in the early hours and couldn't get back to sleep. Normally I sleep like an unconscious log so feeling a bit weird at the moment.
