Coolant woes - Page 2

Hi. Not sure if this will help, my 1.8T used to intermittently lose coolant, I tried changing the PRT thermostat, checked that there wasn't a thermostat fitted behind the block, (just a restrictor), looked in the usual places for leaks, none found.
So I gave the system a good bleed....... It hasn't lost a drop since.
That's the K for you, always keeps you guessing. Great cars, so much character.

Hi I only fill to the max level on the expansion bottle yhanks
