Does anyone know where to get POI files for IGO Primo? Or for that matter a program to convert CSV files to .POI files?

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Looked at these, but the trouble is they don't actually offer any conversion programs. From what I can gather Primo uses .POI files which are different to the .KLM files used by Igo 8. Can't even find out exactly how to install POIs! Have found a program to convert the files but can't see how to install them!

Its really easy to install the POI's, you just need to put the file into the correct folder. If you download any of the IGo or Primo files from- http://www.poiplaza.com/ -in the zip is a txt file which tells you which folder to put them in. The actual folder depends upon the type of POI file you want to install, so read the instructions carefully.

Maybe I am beeing thick but the files from Poiplaza are for IGO8 and are KML files. Doesn't IGO Primo useea different format? I ahve tried putting KML files in the right directory but the GPS does not recognise them and does not use them.

Sorry, I can't remember. I have both Igo and Primo running off the same SD card. I added POI's to both versions, but back in September. So all I can say is - I have managed to do it.
