Lot 659 is an interesting one. ZT260 with 20k on the clock - estimate £13-16k.

Cool

Plenty on offer. £18,000 for a bubble car.

I paid £16999 for our ZT260 in 2005 just after Rover went bust with less than 20 miles on the clock. Not an SE though. Nevertheless very encouraging for resale values if it makes the estimate. Was quoted £500 recently by 'letusstealyourcar.com' (academic interest). That would have been a nice little earner for them.

Sadly the ones I have seen in the flesh dont look as good close up, a couple I have seen have a ''kit car finish''. Loads of black mastic filling gaps and shoddy panel fit were the two biggest things that are obvious. The owner of one was telling me how nice it was to drive but you do need to be an enthusiast to own it. He had apparently taken it away to France and it came back on the back of a low loader because it would not start, once home it started straight away
