I actually thought that was a transducing rattle induction component. Introduce 'safe' rattles to 'fix' (disguise) the rattles elsewhere in the car

Expanding foam works wonders for rattles. Limits the induction a bit though when used on manifolds!

Topped up the power steering, did an oil change and fired the V6 up, apart from a noisy inlet manifold (No bolts involved ) All is well.

Just have to replace the dodgy looking lower coolant pipes now, put some fresh coolant in and all will be well, I may as well change the auto box fluid too then everything will be good.

Happy, Happy!
As my petrol tank is almost empty (Haven't filled up for 3 months due to quarantine) I thought it was a good time to pull down the Orange (Actually white) clip and Viton O-ring set that has been taped to one of my workshop cabinets for a year and fit it.
I managed to wrestle the back seat out and got the filter lid off only to find this:

Put everything back together and I am now having a well deserved rest!
I also took a picture of my Spring and Damper sticker for future reference.

I fitted a pair of Rover 75 rear lights to the back of my ZT.
The smoked reverse lights look so much better. I know it's only a subtle change, but it just looks right.
