VIS Motors
Long trip in my ZT-T 180 for the first time after fitting a pair of Dave Stocks’ modified VIS motors. The car has been transformed. Dave confirmed that both of mine were not working. V happy.

Invested in a pair of Avon ZT7s for the front.
Last set of ZT5s I bought 3 1/2 years and 24k miles ago and the rears are still looking good so can't complain. If I'd gone to National in Oxford I could have got them for £53 each but paid a bit more at my local guy as he's only 500yds away and a good bloke.

I was very pleased to receive a visit from one of the most knowledgeable ex member, and his lovely dog Alfie.
A social visit, but nevertheless, he was soon sorting out a niggly air-bag connector fault on my 75. It's what he does. He's not only a very great friend, but without doubt one of the most helpful guys I have ever met. Suffice to say, we all know who I'm talking about. |

rear cill plate
Today I changed a damaged rear n.s. chrome sill plate. Hard to find, I had to buy a complete set to get the one I want. The car is worth it as it is low mileage and showroom/factory fresh condition mechanically and bodily.

Over yesterday and today I've given my Gremlin and oil and filter change,
finally swapped the circuit board over on the rear number plate lights. I might post in a separate place about the " fun " I've had with that today! Last weekend new discs and pads on the front, and my plans tomorrow, if the weather stays reasonable, is to take the front bumper off to check out whats happening with the washer bottle and washer motor. This seems to have some gremlins take up residency in there at the mmoment. I cant understand how a bottle empties itself of it's contents one week, but stays full the following week!

I removed mine as I'm not a fan of chrome!! Are you talking the little bit of chrome you see when you open the doors on the sill itself??
