Is this a record?
It is for me.
Just done quotes for my CDT and V6 Omega to renew the insurance. Both SDP and commuting, 55 to 60 age group, myself plus Mrs MSS, 6k miles PA, zero voluntary excess. The lowest quote for the CDT is £102 and for the Omega £95, both from mainstream insurance companies with fully featured standard policies. These are record low quotes for myself - lowest last year was £123 on the Omega but that included business use. Last edited by MSS; 3rd January 2019 at 20:28.. |

Are you going to let us know who that was with or just going to keep us in suspense?

I'm sure we would all love to benefit from super cheap car insurance, who was it that quoted you?

How strange, I was quoted by SAGA £321. age 58, no claims or convictions, clean license, low crime area, off road parking, 5,000 per year, vol excess £350, advanced driver certificate, discount for new customer.
Are you sure your quote isn't 'per month' haha. |

No - I haven't paid more than £186 for any of my cars in the last 4-5 years. That was with 13k miles per annum and business use. I'll have to do a quote for a Supercharged 542BHP XFR-S Sportbrake and see what that comes out like. The quotes on this Supercharged V8 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...=ip68lx&page=1 are between £405 and £500. All mainstream companies e.g RAC at £427.13.
