Complimentary comment
I am currently using the ZT daily whilst the Supra has her annual pile of money thrown at her.
I work in a secure area so have to pass a security cordon each day. Yesterday one of the guards checking my passes stopped for a chat "Lovely car this mate you don't see many now do you. I used to have nice Green one of these in the day. Wish I had kept it " Surprised I returned a " thanks mate nice of you to say so' Totally taken back to be honest as normally in work it's a Bit of ridicule when driving the ZT as most see it strange that my other baby is a snarling twin turbo Japanese import It's nice to have good comments when in the ZT don't you think.

Well done, it is nice. A guy who occasionally works at our place stopped me in the car park when I was passing with my BRG 75 Tourer and said "I absolutely love this car". It was a nice comment and one then looks in the mirror to see the grin.

An elderly gent stopped to look at my 75, parked outside the house, the other day. After a minute of examining it, he walked away, probably thinking "Why would you have a lovely car like that, and not wash the filth off it!"

And to think I was planning on stripping this one and cutting the sills off it...
Well done Jon, I've not seen the car since the day we brought it back, but I'm sure it looks better now than when it left Longbridge Hope all is well with you.

Yea I know. But credit where credit is due mate you did think it was a keeper. She has flown through her subsequent MOTs and does me proud particularly as she gets used more in the winter as a daily drive. I was planning on meeting up with some SW members but work, time and other conflicting occasions got in the way last summer In the main I have tried to keep her as a driver but she must still look ok for the security guard to stop and comment. How's things your end mate? It must be a couple of years now since you bought it back for me

I’m currently having a break in the highlands of Scotland and on my drive up from the North East I haven’t seen another 75/ZT , however after stopping over at The Boat of Garten on the way up, as we left the next morning and were traveling through the village the driver of a dark VW Transporter smiled and gave us the thumbs up ! I’ve got until Saturday before I leave to see if we finally spot any others.

I've had a few complimentary comments - twice now i've been told that my car looks like a Jag (I'm sure we've all had this one!), and i've been given a thumbs up from some bloke who was driving a zafira. Get odd looks quite a bit when i'm driving it though.

Sadly mine is always like a tip, inside and out (I keep the little TF clean ). However, I took my (posh female) cousin for lunch in it the other day, and she kept on about how much she liked it for its comfort, smoothness, walnut etc. And the predictable “Jag” comment. I told her you could get a decent one for less than a Grand – her eyes widened, and she told me hers (some hideous variant of those horrible 4x4 van things that people seem to like nowadays) had cost about £60k
